Discrimination and Bigots

Amen. Serve and love everyone like Jesus.

I Can't Help Everyone, so I'm Trying for Someone

Discrimination has been in the news a lot lately. A lot of people are up in arms about what they think is and isn’t ok.

A barbershop refused service to a transgendered male (for those who aren’t clear on this subject, that’s someone who was born a woman but who has transitioned to a male).

A bakery refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding (when the court ruled in favor of the couple, they then refused to pay the damages).

So here’s what I keep taking away from all of this:

It is ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL to not give someone a job based on race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. HOWEVER, it’s somehow ok to refuse to do your job for any of the above reasons??
